Datuk Rejendra V Palany, Datuk Raj Palany to his friends and colleagues, is the backbone of Palany, Fairus & Adib Chambers. He has been in legal practice for more than two decades in Australia and Malaysia.
QUALIFICATIONS
Datuk Rejendra obtained his Bachelor of Science from the La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. He completed the Common Professional Examination in Law from the University of North London and went on to obtain his Masters in Law from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia attaining a high distinction in International Trade Law and distinctions in Trade Marks Law, Designs Law and International Commercial Dispute Resolution.
Datuk Rejendra is admitted to appear in the Supreme Court of England & Wales, High Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Supreme Court of Victoria and in the High Court of Malaya.
EXPERIENCE
Datuk Rejendra commenced his legal career with the Office of State Revenue Victoria, Australia as a legal specialist. Later, venturing into private practice in Sydney. In Sydney, he was the managing partner in Petrovski Palany Lawyers prior to commencing his own firm Palany & Partners. Upon returning to Malaysia, Rejendra commenced Rejendra Palany Chambers now known as Palany Fairus & Adib Chambers.
Datuk Rejendra's practical awareness and solid academic knowledge enables him to offer informed advice on all legal commercial issues including but not limited corporate, company and partnership formations, sale and purchase of businesses, business/project financing, sale and purchase of residential/commercial property.
Datuk Rejendra has the added advantage of working with prominent barristers in Australia during his practice there and maintains constant contact with them and other affiliates worldwide in London, New York, Chennai, Singapore, Phnom Penh and Johannesburg.
